In this article, we share 3 easy recipes for making hair masks using everyday kitchen ingredients you probably already have on hand.

DIY hair mask #1: Avocado and Agave Hair Mask

This mask is best for individuals with dry or damaged hair. If you have oily hair, you can still use this mask but you may want to reduce the amount of agave you use.

Are you in need of an effective DIY hair mask to help improve the health of your hair? Well, this avocado and agave hair mask is a great option. Avocados are rich with nutrients that are beneficial for the hair, including vitamins A, B, and E. Agave is a natural humectant, which means it helps to lock in moisture and add shine.

Ingredients needed:

1 - whole ripe organic avocado

2 tbsp - organic raw agave

Instructions:

To make this mask, start by mashing up one ripe avocado. Then, mix in agave. Next, apply the Avocado and Agave Hair Mask to your hair. Place a disposable shower cap on your head and cover with a microfiber towel or steam cap. Let the mask sit for 15-20 minutes. Thouroughly, rinse out the conditioner with warm water. The final rinse should be done with cold water.
