Blender Safety: Depending on the type of blender used, Sea Moss may become hot during the blending process. Do not over-blend. Allow to cool before removing the lid. Measurement (1:1): 1 part sea moss to 1 part spring water (add less spring water for a thicker gel).
1.) Place the desired amount of Wild-harvested Raw Sea Moss in a large strainer and wash thoroughly to rid the sea moss of all debris.
2.) Place the sea moss in a glass bowl, fill it with spring water, cover it, and allow it to soak for 4 - 24 hours. Once the sea moss has soaked for the appropriate time frame, drain the water and rinse the sea moss thoroughly. Feel free to rinse the sea moss a couple of times.
3.) Place the clean sea moss in a blender, add spring water, and ensure the lid is secure. Blend until smooth. If desired, add additional spring water to meet the desired
consistency. Do not over-blend.
4.) Transfer the gel into a mason jar and store it in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
You can also freeze batches of Sea Moss Gel for extended use.
Directions: Take 1- 2 tbsp of sea moss gel daily. Take as is or add to your smoothie, soup, tea, oatmeal, or other foods and beverages for added nutritional benefits.
